Algorithmics NWI (hereinafter referred to as “Algorithmics”), a local provider of programming and digital skills courses for children and teenagers aged 6 to 18, complies with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR).

We are committed to processing the personal data of children, their parents/legal guardians, and our collaborators lawfully, transparently, and securely, exclusively for educational purposes.

2. When We Collect Personal Data

We collect personal data in the following situations:
- When children are registered for courses, workshops, or events organized by Algorithmics;
- When student accounts are created on the Algorithmics learning platform;
- During course participation (online or in our physical centers);
- Through online forms, emails, phone calls, or direct communication;
- When our website or related applications are used.

3. Categories of Personal Data Collected

For children (minors):
- First and last name;
- Age and school grade;
- Contact information (email, phone – if applicable);
- Course attendance and learning progress;
- Photos and/or video recordings (with the explicit consent of the parent/legal guardian).

For parents/legal guardians:
- Full name;
- Phone number and email address;
- Digital or handwritten signature for consent;
- Billing information (if applicable).

Automatically collected technical data:
- IP addresses;
- Browser and device details;
- Pages visited, access time and date, etc.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We only process personal data if:
- The parent/legal guardian has given explicit consent;
- It is necessary for the performance of the educational contract (e.g., course participation);
- It is required to comply with legal obligations (e.g., accounting regulations).

5. How We Protect Data

- Data access is restricted to authorized personnel only;
- Our team is trained in data confidentiality and GDPR compliance;
- We implement technical safeguards (encryption, backups, secure authentication);

- Or until the parent/legal guardian withdraws their consent.

Personal data may be stored or processed using international educational platforms (e.g., Algorithmics Global system) only if:
- Adequate safeguards are in place (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses – SCC);
- Data is never exposed without protection;
- The parent/legal guardian has given explicit consent for such transfers.
